Real Estate Meetup: Trends, Innovations and Adaptation to Crisis Conditions

At the beginning of July, the first of a series of specialized events dedicated to the development of the real estate industry took place at the Kiev co-working PLATFORMA Leonardo. Having gathered leading experts in this field, we discussed current issues and trends of modern office spaces.

Changes as they are

Discussions of new trends and innovations have shown that the future of workspaces fits into the paradigm of comfort, creativity and high productivity. Today, offices are becoming more than just a place to work. They become centers of creativity and satisfaction of the needs of their employees. It is a platform where a community is formed and innovations and ideas meet.

“Since the full-scale invasion, our customer has completely changed, now everyone in the office wants to arrange something like an apartment, a house, and most of their needs to be closed there...”, - said Oleksandra Prorok, partner of CCG Development.

More and more companies are initiating the trend of creating unique spaces with basketball courts, yoga areas and comfortable places to relax that reflect the individual interests and needs of employees.

Culture of creativity

The structure of the workspace has also gone far beyond the limits, because now offices are equipped with separate rooms for events, mini-studios, podcasts, etc. This is how a certain business is formed in business. This contributes not only to additional earnings, but also to provide creative space for employees.

“If it were not there, business is not always about money, it is always half money, half emotion,” - Igor Maisak, a specialist in the field of construction and management of corporate real estate.

In this environment, employees can develop their skills and talents, which increases their productivity and job satisfaction. In addition, it contributes to the creation of a more cohesive and motivated team, capable of generating innovative ideas and solving tasks efficiently.

“Today, almost every office asks its employees about their interests, hobbies, hobbies. Therefore, when you get into some offices, you do not see the design, but you see the reflection of the people who work there,” said Andriy Fedorov, CEO of City Capital Group.

Innovation and adaptability to crisis conditions

Obviously, future office spaces must take into account the new realities and needs of their users. In the face of war and crisis, it is very important not only to adapt, but also to change the “traditional” attitude towards the construction of office spaces. In the future, the presence of shelters, evacuation plans will be mandatory for newly created construction facilities.

Today, the innovation space is the legality of construction, the availability of all necessary engineering networks, shelters, evacuation plans, adaptability to light cuts, remote access to system management, connection to alternative power grids and, most importantly, inclusivity.

Mitap has attracted the attention of representatives from different sectors of the real estate industry, which has created a great opportunity for networking and sharing experiences among industry professionals.
